lila sittingPET SITTING – OUT OF TOWN/VACATION VISITS 
Customize the number of visits needed per day, based on your needs and the needs of your pets
Pet sitting visits for your cat, dog or other small animal work well if you will be away from home for a day, a weekend or longer. These visits are a great alternative to dog boarding or kenneling, or asking friends or family to care for your pets.  Your pets will benefit from remaining in their familiar environment, will get more interaction, exercise, play, love and you will benefit from all of the home-related services, as well as knowing that your pets are being well taken care of and receiving daily updates on their well-being.

  • Walk dog in your neighborhood
  • Playtime and/or exercise in your home or yard
  • Give potty breaks
  • Provide fresh water
  • Give food
  • Scoop litter box during cat sitting
  • Administer medication
  • Provide daily updates on your pets

FREE home-related services offered with pet sitting visits (based on your needs/requests):

  • Bring in the mail, newspaper and packages
  • Water indoor plants
  • Alternate lights and blinds
  • Take out the trash; and put trash can and recycle bins out on Trash Day

RATES for Out of Town/Vacation Visits
(Rate covers up to 2 pets. Each additional pet up to 4 pets, $2.00/visit per pet will be added. Holidays: $5.00 charge is added to each visit). Rates shown are based on servicing clients who live within a 7 radius of Happy Paws & Pet Pals LLC’s office in Indian Trail, NC.)* Rates for puppies vary and will be provided upon request. 

Standard Visit (30 minutes) – $20.00
Extended Visit (45 minutes) – $25.00
Extra Long Visit (60 minutes) – $32.00
Overnight Stay (10 pm to 7 am – offered Friday, Saturday & Sunday only) – $75.00 

*For visits out of the 7 mile radius, longer than 60 minutes and/or for more than 4 pets, rate will be quoted based on location, services requested, duration of visit and number of pets.

Offered Daily between 10:00am-2:00pm Only
The standard dog walking/potty break visit is the perfect option if you work long hours or have suffered and illness or injury and your dog needs exercise, a potty break, playtime and interaction. Dog walking visits are scheduled around your needs and the needs of your pets, whether you book every day of the week or 2 or 3 times per week, my service can accommodate you. See Dog Walking Policy below.

RATES for Dog Walking/Potty Breaks
(Rate covers up to 2 dogs. Each additional dog up to 4 is $2.00/visit per dog added for 30 minutes or $1.00/visit per dog added for 15 minute quick potty break. Dog walking/potty break offered daily between 10:00am-2:00pm). Rates for puppies vary and will be provided upon request. 

Standard Walk/Potty Break (30 minutes) – $20.00 
Quick Potty Break/Let Out (15 minutes) – $17.00 (walk not included in 15 minute visit)

Dog Walking Policy:

  • During periods of torrential downpours, thunder/lightening, or extreme hot or cold temperatures, HP&PP will use our best judgment and may limit walks to short potty breaks, indoor and/or yard playing and exercise.
  • Walks after 8pm or when it gets dark (whichever comes first) may be limited to a short distance and indoor play for safety reasons.
  • Dogs are required to be on a leash and have collar with identification tags on outdoor walks.
  • Walks limited to two dogs at a time and must be from same household.
  • Walks are provided for leash-trained dogs only. Dogs who are leash-reactive or aggressive to other animals or people are not candidates for this service.
